We are a humanitarian and inclusive organization whose main objective is to work with young people from low-income backgrounds in order to expand their employment and academic opportunities through cultural exchange programs abroad. We have an excellent team and an interesting portfolio that includes students, travelers, interns, and professionals from all social backgrounds.
In this way, with an important trajectory of 17 years in the country, we improve the quality of life of young Colombians by equipping them with the best tools to succeed in a globalized world.
Provide young Colombians between the ages of 18 and 26, and adults up to 50 years old, with opportunities to learn about new cultures, improve foreign languages, obtain interesting job offers, and grow personally and professionally through cultural exchange programs in different countries around the world.
Nationally and internationally, the Work and Travel Culture Exchange Au Pair Association aims to be recognized by 2045 as a prestigious entity promoting and managing cultural exchanges in Colombia, being the first to support underprivileged youth.
• The Work and Travel Association is an organization with 17 years of experience, with a skilled team implementing cultural exchange programs. Luz Marina Vargas, the general director, will always be at the forefront, overseeing each process, as she has done for years, earning recognition for the reliability, guarantees, and success of each traveler.
• Her experience highlights the challenges and frustrations faced by many underprivileged youth who dream of traveling abroad but cannot access the program due to their economic situation.
• With the Work and Travel Association, limitations are reduced, and the chances of fulfilling dreams and changing lives increase.
• We provide the best guidance throughout all stages of the process until visa approval, ensuring the beneficiary achieves the success they expect from their journey.
• We offer a guaranteed employment contract before departure.
• We subsidize young people from lower-income backgrounds (strata 1 and 2) who aspire to the Au Pair program with scholarships or financial aid.
• We have agreements and support from major international entities related to cultural exchange.
• The beneficiary has all the guarantees for their personal safety when leaving the country, along with proper guidance from our international representatives in the host country, who will ensure the protection of their personal and labor rights.
